Chef Jessica Rachel Conover has been in the food service industry for over 15 years. She got her start at Art’s Supermarket and deli in her hometown of Sandwich IL. From there her passion for food led her to Culinary School at Joliet Junior College. Chef Conover has worked in a variety of restaurants in the Chicago land area as well as Ireland.

She most recently opened her own business, Ginger and Soul Catering. The business features creating healthful foods for everyday living and cooking classes for children and adults. Over the past two years In addition, Chef Conover has been the Culinary Arts Instructor at Indian Valley Vocational Center in Sandwich IL. She uses her experience and love for her craft to inspire students and provided them with real world job skills.

The food industry has been a way for Chef Conover to access other cultures, connect with others and grow with her community. She strives to share these blessings through mentorship programs and culinary education.
