Courtney is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois.  She obtained her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Northern Illinois University, and her Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Chicago.  She has been working in the field of psychology since 1998 in a variety of settings, including community mental health, ER/hospitals, and private practice.  She has had the privilege of working in such nationally esteemed hospitals as Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital and
Linden Oaks at Edward Hospital.

Courtney specializes in depression, anxiety, crisis intervention, parenting, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, infertility,  life transition issues,  childhood & adolescence, LGBT, marriage and family struggles.  An integrative therapist, she uses evidence-based treatment modalities which include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness to help her clients live more rich, fulfilling lives.
